An Irish Blessing
May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields.
And, until we meet again, May God hold
you in the small of His hand.
May the Irish hills caress you.
May her lakes and rivers Bless you.
May the luck of the Irish enfold you.
May the Blessings of Saint Patrick behold you.
Grandchildren are the gifts of God.
It is God’s way of compensating us for growing old.
May you have;
No frost on your spuds,
No worms on your cabbage,
May your goat give plenty of milk,
If you inherit a donkey,
may she be in foal.
Don’t walk in front of me. I may not follow.
Don’t walk behind me. I may not lead.
Walk beside me and just be my friend.
May your live as long as you want,
And never want as long as you live.
Those who bring Sunshine to the Lives of
others, can not Keep it from Themselves.
Have A Good Day Always
And…In All Ways.
