Irish Love Spoons

Irish love spoons evolved from the intricate wooden spoons made by our Celtic cousins, the Welsh.
Our Irish love spoons are made of brass and include traditional Irish symbols such as the Claddagh, shamrocks, the harp and the Celtic cross.

Some of our Irish wedding gifts were originated by Celtic cousins of the Irish. The Welsh started the tradition of the love spoons and the Scots invented the quaich cup. The elaborate knot work of our Celtic wedding gifts, such as in the Celtic wedding cake server and knife, are influenced by the art of all the Celtic nations including the illustrations found in the famous Irish Book of Kells.

We would be remiss if we didn't also direct you toward our Celtic wedding bands. Their intricate knot-work is in hot demand.
