Belleek Shamrock Jug is a fine china pitcher that is enhanced with hand-painted shamrocks along with an embossed basket weave motif and an elaborate handle.

Belleek Shamrock Round Bottom Jug is reputedly designed by Michael Maguire as part of the Shamrock Tea set in the 1870s. The Shamrock Milk Jug, with its iconic basketweave pattern, was adapted from the wickerwork baskets so common in Ireland during the 19th Century. The handles are fashioned as if they are a clump of shamrock stems. The jug, along with its hand-painted shamrocks, remained in production for over one hundred years. Retired in the early 1980s, it has been brought back in 2019 as part of the new Belleek Masterpiece Collection.

Belleek Shamrock Round Bottomed Jug is part of the 2019 Masterpiece Collection. The Belleek pitcher is enhanced with hand painted green shamrocks along with an embellished handle and the famous basket-weave motif. The Belleek jug is made of fine china; it measures 4 1/2" wide x 4 1/2" tall x 3 1/2" deep and holds 14 fluid ounces. It is safe to use in the oven, microwave, and freezer. Hand-washing is recommended.

This Irish dinnerware is hand crafted in Belleek, Ireland and is gift boxed with a shamrock history card, complements of The Irish Gift House.
