Irish firefighter shield features a shamrock enhanced Maltese cross that is surrounded by Celtic knot-work that includes Trinity knots; the Maltese cross is the international symbol of firefighters, while the shamrock is the internationally known Irish icon. The center shamrock is enhanced with the words, Honor – Service – Sacrifice, the shield is further enhanced with the words, Ireland’s Bravest – Fireman – Genuine Irish – 1922 (the year the Irish Free State began) – and Fir Na Tine (Gaelic for Fireman). The Irish sign features plasma cut metal construction; it is an ideal way to any decorate wall in your pub, garage or man cave.
