Irish hankie is ready for a bride on her wedding day, but with slight modification it will do double duty as an Irish baby bonnet on Christening Day. The magic linen is complete with embroidered shamrocks along with a poem and a silk-like gift bag.

The Irish baby bonnet/wedding hankie includes the following printed poem:
Irish Keepsake
A hankie for bride to take down the aisle.
A bonnet for babe to wear Christening Day.
This wee little cloth can be either style,
Then cherished and kept to use other way.
Whether gift for a bride to keep for first born,
Or gift for a babe until wedding day,
A fold and a tie to change how its worn,
But keepsake and Irish it is either way.

The Irish magic hankie is a bride’s hankie that with slight modification transforms into an Irish Christen bonnet, the process may be reversed for generations to come. The Irish baby bonnet features embroidered white shamrocks on white linen and is enhanced with an embroidered border with a scalloped motif; it measures 11 1/2” square.

The shamrock hankie is received with a silk-like gift sack along with a printed poem and a shamrock history card, complements of The Irish Gift House.

This Irish baby bonnet is made in Vietnam.

The Irish baby magic bonnet includes the following poem:
The Magic Hanky
I’m a little hanky As beautiful as can be,
And with a stitch or two a bonnet has been made out of me.
I can be worn home from the hospital or on christening day,
And then I will be tucked away to await the wedding day.
On her Wedding Day, a hanky I will be,
For every bride needs something old and surely I will be.
And if so happens to be a boy,
and someday he should marry,
He can give his lovely bride a hanky she can carry.
