This Belleek basket celebrates the four seasons of the year with flowers and elements for each period of the calendar. Spring is represented with green branches along with yellow and purple buds while the summer elements include the pink and yellow roses of the Irish hedgerows along with dragonflies and bees. Fall is symbolized with red and green apples along with burnt orange Autumn leaves. The festive feel of Winter depicts holly green leaves along with red berries. Each element is hand applied and painted. This Belleek basket is hand woven of fine china and measures 7 1/2" diameter x 2 1/3” deep. The Irish basket is hand painted and handmade in Belleek, Ireland.
