Celtic earrings have been hallmarked sterling silver by the Irish Assay Office at Dublin Castle in Ireland.

These sterling silver Celtic earrings feature an interlaced quadruple Trinity knot design that is known as the Dara or strength knot. The dangling Celtic earrings are enhanced with a center set green crystal; they measures 1/2” wide x 1 1/8" tall, to the top of the fishhook wires. This Celtic strength knot earrings are made by Solvar Jewelry in Dublin, Ireland; they are part of the Acara Collection. The Dara knot earrings are gift boxed with a Celtic knot history card, complements of The Irish Gift House.
The Dara knot that is featured on this Celtic necklace symbolizes the roots of the sacred oak. The Dara name is derived from the Irish word for an oak tree, doire. The ancient Celts considered the oak tree to be a source of strength.
