Belleek greyhound figurine is the male version of this Irish china sculpture that is enhanced with embossed detailing.

Halahan Dunbar was the Church of Ireland Curate in Belleek from 1865 - 1867. While there, he was commissioned by Robert Armstrong to design the Figure of a Greyhound as part of a centerpiece known as the "Group of Greyhounds" that eventually became one of Belleek’s most enduring creations. The Figure of a Greyhound was retired in 1982, but has remained an iconic symbol of Belleek craftsmanship.

The Belleek China Greyhound has been re-introduced as part of the 2009 Archive Collection.

The Belleek greyhound figurine has been re-introduced from the archives in a limited edition of 450 pieces. The Belleek male greyhound is crafted of fine Irish china; he stands 3" wide x 4 1/2" long x 6 1/4" tall.

The Belleek China Greyhound sculpture is handmade in Belleek, Ireland; the figurine is received gift boxed, complements of The Irish Gift House.
